Police Intelligence: Totality of Circumstances is a vital resource designed for individuals who may come across the field of criminal justice. Whether you are a police chief overseeing operational procedures, a police officer enforcing the law, a civilian abiding by the law, a lawyer challenging an action in court, or a judge interpreting the law, this book is relevant. The content applies mathematics and logic to laws and policies to objectively assess them. Laws and policies are presented as English logical statements, which can be transformed into mathematical logical statements. Boolean algebra can be used to objectively evaluate laws, policies, and correct police actions using truth tables, Venn diagrams, flowcharts, logic gates, and logic circuits. Understanding concepts such as existential and universal quantifiers, conditional statements, and subsets is crucial for the accurate interpretation of laws and policies. It is important for individuals to comprehend how to mathematically assess English logical statements like laws, as failure to do so may result in adversaries exploiting this in a courtroom setting.
